CBT

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness.

AODA

Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA): A wide range of programs for persons affected by alcohol or drugs. These programs include detox centers, day treatment, inpatient/outpatient facilities, residential programs, and intervention/prevention efforts. 

PEER SUPPORT

Peer support workers are people who have been successful in the recovery process who help others experiencing similar situations. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support workers help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse. Peer support services can effectively extend the reach of treatment beyond the clinical setting into the everyday environment of those seeking a successful, sustained recovery process


PARENTING

Implementing skills that parents need in order to fulfill their duties as parents. 

JOB READINESS

Job Readiness Training (reported as Job Search / Job Readiness Assistance) - is training a participant. receives to prepare them to seek or obtain employment, and to keep their jobs once they are hired. Training/instruction could be: Preparing a resume or job application. 

SPIRITUALITY

Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature. 

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
